Holmead Road Medical is a private billing practice and payment is required at the end of your consultation; cheques are not accepted. Children are bulk billed up to their 5th birthday. DVA Gold card holders are also bulk billed, with no age limit.
Patients with a valid Medicare Card, meeting the criteria for preventative health services are also bulk billed. Health assessments and GP Chronic Condition management plans have no out-of-pocket fee to eligible patients – please ask reception or your GP about these programs.
As a private billing clinic we are able to spend more time with you.
Antenatal Care, Mental Health Care and Procedures all incur a private fee: Including but not limited to: pregnancy visits, mental health care plans, eating disorder plans, excisions, iron infusions, contraceptive implant insertion and removal, ear syringing and vaccinations.
Card Surcharge: To cover surcharge fees incurred when you pay by EFTPOS, (this includes Debit, Credit, Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS), this fee is automatically added at the time of paying your account.
Home Visits: Homes visits are available for regular patients of the practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. The decision to make the House-Call is made at the doctor’s discretion.
Please do note that fees may change from time to time, and although we do try our best to keep the website up to date with any changes, there is a chance of some discrepancy. Please call our reception team for a current price list.

AFTER HOURS SERVICE FEES
If you are a patient at Holmead Road Medical, you can arrange an after-hours review from one of our contractor doctors. They are available for after hour care between the hours of 6pm – 11pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Please be aware ALL after hour appointments through Holmead Road Medical will incur a private fee. Telehealth consults start at $300, and face to face consults $400.
