Dr Alison Pilkington graduated from Adelaide University in 2006. She completed her fellowship in 2011, gaining FRACGP. Alison has been a valued general practitioner in the area for over eleven years and is excited to return, introducing you to her very own clinic.

Dr Alison’s enthusiasm and professionalism make her passion for medicine obvious. Alison approaches her role with honesty and empathy and a depth of knowledge acquired through hard work and commitment to her patients and profession. Alison offers you her best each and every day and is mindful of establishing and maintaining a great working relationship for better health.

A move to Queensland was a spur of the moment decision made with her, now husband, in 2007. Since then Alison has enjoyed what Queensland has to offer; national parks, beautiful beaches and a relaxing lifestyle. Outside of work Alison enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and chocolate border collies.

Dr Alison is an experienced GP with a drive to give you her full attention and her best care each and every day. Alison believes in patient-centered care and providing information so that you can be part of the decision-making process. Her goal is to provide high-quality care that is both an informative and a comfortable experience for her patients.

Dr Rhys Cameron

Contractor

Dr Rhys Cameron graduated from the Australian National University in 2015 and moved into the general practice profession in 2018. His clinical experience includes a range of specialty rotations at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. Rhys has over 3 years of General Practice experience working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in Brisbane and was loved as a fun and optimistic doctor. His special interests include adolescent and child health.

Dr Rhys is passionate about education and spends part of his time as an academic lecturer with the University of Queensland Medical School. His research interests include early fatherhood, child safety and evidence-based medicine within General Practice.

Dr Rhys lives locally with his wife, son and daughter. In his spare time, he plays a variety of sports, music, and volunteers with the Red Frogs.

Dr Rhys loves providing as much information as possible to help patients make the most informed health decisions. One of the biggest factors of our health is our behaviour and he values the opportunity to discuss the way habits and motivations impact our wellbeing. He considers it a privilege to assist patients and their families along their health and wellbeing journey.

Dr Chris Van Oeveren

Dr Chris has worked in the area for over 25 years and is very experienced in all areas of General Practice. Dr Chris is a very dedicated Doctor and is also involved with teaching medical students at the University of Queensland School of Medicine.

Dr Alison Stewart

Contractor

Dr Alison Stewart has more than 20 years experience in general practice, assisting patients in their health journeys “from cradle to grave”.

Dr Stewart is keenly interested in understanding a patient’s background and context in order to build an effective therapeutic relationship.

She has a special interest in gut and liver health, especially Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease, and in helping patients to make the positive lifestyle behaviour changes that underpin management of a range of chronic medical conditions.

She loves looking after babies and children and has completed the alignment activities required to undertake shared antenatal care with the Mater and Metro South antenatal services.

Dr Stewart performs skin examinations, diagnostic punch biopsies and basic skin cancer excisions.

On the other end of the spectrum, she enjoys looking after the elderly and, in partnership with local services, is passionate about providing good palliative and end of life care.

Dr Bonnie Ong

Dr Bonnie is a perinatal GP, specialising in the care of families throughout the journey of trying to conceive through to baby’s second birthday.

Dr Bonnie graduated with first class honours in her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of NSW in 2009. She then worked in Paediatrics at the Sydney Children’s Hospital before becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. Throughout her years as a GP, she always had a particular passion for Women’s and Children’s Health. She is accredited in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums approach to infant feeding and settling) and holds a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Family Planning NSW).

As a mum of two young children, Bonnie distinctly remembers the challenges of pregnancy and caring for an infant, and the frustration of conflicting advice around parenting. She has a gentle, compassionate and flexible approach to equipping families through their unique journeys in the perinatal period. Dr Andrea Lamprecht

Dr Andrea Lamprecht graduated locally from the University of Queensland in 2017 and has experience from a variety of specialty rotations at Caboolture Hospital, Mater Adults and Mothers Hospitals, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Andrea started working in general practice in 2020 and has taken on roles in supporting new GP trainees through mentorship and exam preparation.

Dr Andrea believes that good communication is the key to people being empowered to manage their health and live well. She hopes to build good relationships with patients that will endure through all stages of life, for a cradle-to-grave generalist approach to care. Dr Andrea welcomes all patients and is LGBTQ+ friendly.

Dr Andrea is aligned for antenatal GP shared care with local maternity hospitals including Mater. She performs skin checks and basic procedures including skin cancer excisions, cyst removal, Implanon insertion/removal, Mirena insertion/removal and more.

Dr Andrea loves all aspects of General Practice.

Dr Andrea lives locally with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending her free time playing tabletop games with friends, cooking, and creating art.
