We are a Vaccine Provider

Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Holmead Road Medical is committed to providing excellent health care for our patients. As the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Holmead Road Medical is presented with the unique challenge of taking measures to ensure the well-being and safety of our clients and their loved ones, without causing unnecessary disruption to our operations and, by extension, our clients’ treatment and recovery.

You will notice some changes in the practice environment as we continue to adhere to the changes with the COVID-19 guidelines. There may be times that you are asked to wait outside rather than inside the waiting room and you may need to wear a mask, depending on current Queensland Health guidelines.

Our operations will continue, with adjustments, to ensure everyone’s health is best protected; however, due to the unpredictability of the situation, some of our procedures and processes may be subject to change as the situation develops.

Holmead Road Medical will inform you of all impending changes affecting clients and their loved ones. We are committed to transparent communication to minimise any worry and anxiety our clients and their loved ones might experience.

To be able to do this well, we ask you to work with us to minimise risks to yourself and others. Please follow the instructions of our reception staff and any signs or messages you receive from us.

Please advise our reception staff if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms and we will arrange an appropriate appointment for you.

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Shortness of breath
  • Diarrhoea
  • Fatigue
  • Vomiting or nausea
